Second Tuesday Wine Tastings
Three great wines from one of Italy's wine regions, paired with regional antipasti.
On the 2nd Tuesday of each month, 6-7pm, $25 per person. The first course starts promptly at 6pm.

On Thursday May 13, the Alaska Department of Fish & Game officially opened the Copper River salmon fishery for a twelve hour period.  The catch was dispatched to the Seattle Tacoma Airport via Alaska Airlines, where the glassy eyed chinooks and sockeyes held their first press conference with a live acrobatic performance later that day at Seattle's Pike's Market.

Executive Chef David Columbia will feature this year's fresh catch of the magnificent Copper River Salmon paired with fantastic Pinot Noirs from the Montinore Estate in the prestigious Willamette Valley in Oregon.  Our hostess for the evening will be Kristin Marchesi, daughter of owner Rudy Marchesi, joined by local wine expert Nick Biondi of Majestic Wines & Spirits.

Cost for the six-course, six-flights of wine meal is $99 per person plus gratuity and tax.

~ The wood-burning oven was imported from Rome and burns only fruitwoods and hardwoods.  It is designed to resemble Mount Vesuvius.

~ Our bread is baked each morning in the wood-burning oven, just as Italian artisan bakers have done for centuries.

~ We have no freezers, no deep-fryers, and no microwave ovens.  Fresh is best.

~ The chef shops daily in Pittsburgh’s “Strip” district to ensure we have only the freshest hand-picked vegetables, herbs, cheeses and ingredients.

~ Our specialty pastas are made fresh to order by artisan chef Steve Salvi of Fede Pasta.

~ Fresh seafood and meats are hand-cut by our chef and cooked simply and deliciously in the wood-burning oven.

~ All desserts are made in-house using family recipes.  Our featured biscotti desserts are made from fresh ingredients using a family recipe passed down for generations.

~ Enrico’s is proud to offer more than 3 dozen Italian wines by the glass – all from small vineyards providing excellent and affordable wines not available in the Pennsylvania Wine and Spirits shops.

~ Our staff has been trained with an understanding of the fine wines and Italian food dishes served simply and tastefully at Enrico’s.
